A lone tower stood. Ivy growing so thickly over it that the wood and stone of the tower could barely be seen. A small moat surrounded the bottom of the building. A drawbridge heaved itself down and landed on a dusty path. As the sky churned and grew dark, a man on a grey horse emerged out of the dank darkness within. He wore a sour look on his face and a dull black cloak billowed around him. He galloped off to the east and arrived at the market in Galladin. This village was just outside Conclave, home to some of the most charming centaurs you could hope to meet. As the man passed, young children leered and grown men made snide comments. "Get outta it Ryd, you don't belong here and you know it." The man looked on. Rydanor was his name. Son of Byronar, once wealthy ruler of Karunan City. Until such a time came when the governors of the North felt the power had gone to his head. They sought to rid him of his kingly status and put their own men in charge, but Byronar would not come quietly. As Byronar and his family were sleeping, the men came and took him. Byronar awoke and became angry, he fought back. However, in all the commotion, one man fired an arrow into the cluster of wrestling men. There was a shout and all men backed away. Byronar knelt on the ground, clutching his heart and screaming, "Such an untimely death! My son, you will avenge me!" He lay still. Rydanor had been just sixteen when his father died. He was so upset with grief that he had forgotten what his father had asked of him. Until now, when he looked upon the face of his tormentor and recognised him as the man who had carried the bow. Rydanor lost control. Leaping off his horse he drew his sword and cut the unfortunate man's head clean off. Several women screamed. "Father, now is the time for me to avenge you!" -Two Years Later- Among the city of Byronar there was much spite and fear. Men and creatures alike would slave over many shrines, temples and crypts for Rydanor the Dark, the powerful ruler of Byronar. Having consumed much hatred and contempt towards everyone who had belittled him, Rydanor had created a dark power so menacing, no being would stand up to his might. He would sent his armies of Golems, Serpents and other merciless beasts to slay innocent creatures who stand in his path. Do no work and you will become snacks for his favourite ghastly minions. Now it is up to YOU to stop Rydanor and restore peace to Byronar, a once charming and wealthy city of Karunan.
Yes, my RPG is back! I'm starting again from scratch and holding sign ups to pick the best and most active players. I'm not going to give you the character sheet just yet because I have a questionnaire I need you to fill out. Anyone can sign up for this RPG but only a select few will be picked.

Well, I read this story about a guy who was in a storm, soaked wet from head to toe, and was hit by lightning; and walked away relatively unharmed. He survived because the lightning conducted through his wet clothes.

The two that haven't been chosen: It's nothing personal, just, your char sheets are too similar to the others who already had guaranteed places. If anyone drops out of the RPG, you'll be the first to hear about it.

I'd discard any metal items(where I can come back to get them later, of course), and crawl away from the tree. Not very dignified or anything, but better than getting hit by lightning. A little rain never hurt anyone, though(I do love the rain =D).
You'd have to have a metal item as large as a doorknob to have a better chance of being struck by lightning.

~Rules and Info~ Strength - Obviously your physical strength. Determines damage to others. Defence - Obviously your physical defence. Determines damage from others. Bravado - Determines critical hits, luck, ability to flee, etc. Health - Your health? Once this is down to zero you can't do a single thing. Until you're revived of course. Mana - The amount of power you have to use a skill. Weapon - You can only have one weapon at any one time. Armour - You can only wear one set of armour at any one time. (i.e, can't wear 2 helmets at once) Money - How much money you have? You can spend this at a shop or... whatever. Skills - You can only learn 4 skills at a time. If you want to learn a new one you must 'forget' an existing one. - *Special skill - One special skill can be learnt alongside the 4 skills. These are rare so don't expect them early on. Skill Bank - All the available skills will be listed here.

I'm a a 6-foot tall stealth tank tree? Lol. I was hoping to be a stealth fighter, not a tank fighter D:
Well, you picked brains, you said you enjoyed the weather, you didn't want to have four legs soooooo... If you really want, I can change your Race. But... I can only change it to a Gryphon, Vamp (:S), or some beast/man hybrid you can think of. A Gryphon would be high in Bravado and low in Defence, a Vamp would have no Bravado and low in Defence.

Yeeeeah they exist, though the minds of men are easily corrupted (as any LOTR fan would know), so almost all of them are on the dark side...

I don't think of myself as something like a werewolf..... But I guess it works..... Do I look like a werewolf in resting form, or do I look human and then turn into Lycan?
A thing in the character sheet...... Shouldn't our experience be 0/10 instead of 10/10?
