I don't know if I'm the only one but it is pretty annoying to see all of these Pokemon/fakemon (or something) topics. To get rid of these I think they should make a separate place for Pokemon or drawing in general. Maybe inside the Art,Music and writing should be another Community of Art, Music and Writing so it doesn't get cluttered.
Just an idea.
For Example.
Art Music Writing | | | | | |______> Writing | |_____________________>Music |___________________________________>Art
A pokemon category is not needed, cause there aren't so many pokemon competitions. There are only few threads, so having a special category would disrupt everything.
A special thread just for pokemon? Bah, Pokemon here on AG isn't that special to make a separate forum for. It just isn't worth the time, Plus there are only a few active Pokemon threads like Draw That Fakemon, and Draw That Pokemon. Plus if your the only one annoyed at this then we still don't have to do it because 1 user's problem isn't quite enough to justify this.
The Art, Music, and Writing forum is fairly small, so I don't think that subsections for writing, art and music are needed. Having such subsections would weaken furthermore the forum. The music forum would have very few threads, so it would soon die. The writing forum would have a bit more threads, but it would not have enough active threads to have its on won forum. The same goes for an art forum.
Currently we are not even handling subforums. Which is why this is called Art, Music and Writing instead of "Creative works" which then would be made of different subforums. Besides that, there are currently three (possibly four) threads going on actively in the pokemon genre. If you wish to see anything else, you should make some of the other threads more active.
And if this was made true, people would start demanding that the music section was made by different genres, and that there should be a traditional art section, a digital art section, photography, mixed media, animation and so on. As you can see, there are barely enough life in the few threads there is, so even thinking about making subforums for little details is not really needed.
