Here's something i bet most of you have anm encountered: You're playing a game and then when you send out your units you can't se them and you can't quit the game either. It's happened to me multiple times but it's most common to come across if someone you're playing with hacks or glitches
That is just a form of disconnecting from the server.
Soemtimes it is nice and brings you back to main so you can relog, someitmes it's not. Happens to me a lot because I put my computer on standby (killing the internet) in the middle of a game, and when I come back, I'm d/ced.
Also, if the server decides to randomly crash, that can happen.
The improvements i think need to be made are: make dogfight have no sakatas involved, make a strong marine from manufactury, make snipes cost more cause it gets anoying having the other team make 500 snipes then you cant do anything, have upgrades fore the central base such as repair (for a price per repare) longer range and more rapid fire. Those are my ideas.
if that hapened colony users will be happy P.S fix the random marine dieing problem.
1. Dogfight already has no sakatas, they're glitching. 2. Strong marines from manufactory=useless? Sakatas are good at anti-air, we already ahve the spec ops trooper as a stronger marine, and they'd still get annhilated by hovers/snipers. 3. Uhh, they're tier-2 and easily countered. Early romans before they get too many and your own snipers, with micro, can stop it. 4. Random marine dieing=LAG! On other screens they're being shot at and dieing, on yours they aren't.
Pwease jsut imput air/ground specialization and a change of weapon type for the central base! No damage increase, just a choice to upgrade the base to attack air better (and make ground not as powerful), switch the type of weapon (light/pulse, splash, positron, hadron, etc).
Although there are others, this is one of my least favorite glitches:
As a user of hotkeys, I make buildings, upgrade them, control units with 1234,qwer. The glitch is as follows: let's say you upgrade your barracks to an arsenal using the 'w' button...and as it's building, you accidentally press 'q' or 1,2,3, or 4. Not only will it cancel the building of the Arsenal, but it will not refund your 80$ 50 energy. The solution I think would be simple...the trigger to refund seems to be when you click the 'X' button when something's building. Whenever you use a hotkey, make sure to cancel what's already happening...aka auto 'X'.
Yeah, I remember I lost once replaying mission 5/playing hard cpus with another guy as spec ops, because I look at the bar, and get ready to push shift-4 for influence... ... But push it too early and lose th emissile. Then we lose cause that wuz the key missile...
It's useful though when you don't wanna go to the X (no hotkey for x) but instead want to immediately switch to build something/change something being built.
also how you can log on to the same account simultaneiously (*cough*123) and how you cant change your password and how you dont win when you destroy the central base and have to kill the air units too and how the central base's health bar is unaffected by splash (when in reality it is) and how the spam filter sucks
I really wish you could add friends and see if they are online, what server theyre on, and what room. It would make it much easier so you dont have to come to the forums to get a group going. Also, I dont use hotkeys that much, but I have had times when I try to type something but forget to hit enter, and end up pressing the button to destroy my base, and not see it in time and end up destroying a rank 3 building... :P
I really want the tooltip glitch fixed. If you play on firefox, the tooltips gradually get closer...and closer...to your pointer, and then you can barely do anything because it keeps getting in the way, flashing on and off.
