We must make it easier to get aromor points it is to hard to do it i have been on for a long time and i have very little compared to everyone else. There has to be other ways to get AP or like everytime you play a game or fave a game u sould get points and when you rate and comment on a game u should get more than 2 armor points maybe like 10 or 12 so everyone can have alot of AP and everyone is happy to fit in.
I agree that the Ap's could be upped a bit more to like 5 or make awards that you could earn in games that would give u points like Knogregate (i think)

AG is not Kong. It would be hard to implement and easy to abuse with hacking and cheating.

then all the values of the rewards would be multiplied. You remember those arcade games saying you got 10000 points for completeing the first lvl? it would be the same as having 1 point for completing the first level.

Argh...grammar. >.< Okay, moving on. First of all, you haven't actually been here for a long time. You've been here two months, most of the people who have a lot of AP have been here for a year or so. Not a good idea. Every time you play a game you get AP? That would kind of ruin the system, you're supposed to get AP for writing comments, rating games, etc. etc. You know. And getting more AP for your comments? There is a way to do that already, actually. It's called getting merits, which are worth 25 AP apiece. If you want a lot of AP for your comments, try writing constructive ones and you could get a merit. Everyone fits in, you shouldn't care about the AP. If you want to earn respect, you don't get it by having a lot of AP. Just be a good member, use the brain inside your head *cough*, and people will start to accept you more. Pining about the amount of AP you have =/= the way to get respect and "fit in" as you say.
This is a gaming site, not a "I want more points on the website" site. Enjoy the games, and enjoy the forums. Worrying about having more points will make this a less enjoyable experience for everyone.
This is exactly why AP must be taken less seriously. People care too much and feel they need to
fit in
by getting AP.
It's a fun system. But everyone's all like "OMG I NEED TEH MOAR" and start spamming and it gets unfair. And besides, Firetail_Madness seems to have plenty of AP just getting one or two at a time.
Its easy enough as it is to get AP. In fact, they've been considering making it harder to get AP.
Over time, you'll accumulate thousands of points. Once, I was like you TheSlayer123. Not many points, wanted lots of points. Well, I haven't quite achieved my goal, but all of that time payed off heavily in AP.
Rewards are a really bad idea since games can be easily hacked...
Personally i don't think this is such a great idea, The point of AG isn't the AP... It's about the forums and the games and interacting with other people, Your not supposed to go like, "OMFG I NEED MOAR APZ OR I R BE DIE!!!"

That suggests you haven't been active very often. There is a difference between activity and AG age (Otherwise I'd have 10,000 AP by now).

Aargh! No, we must not! If we did that, it would be abused worse than the rating function, which already shovels thousands of points to users. That would double the amount of cheap AP possible on AG, and if you look already, 90% of all people who have the most points this week due to rating 1000 games.
The reason you don't have much AP is because you have almost zero activity on the Forums, and haven't commented a lot. Make conversations with people you think are friendly. It makes points, but more importantly it puts some more fun into staying at AG.
And Foruming: If you forum (I an use it as a verb, right?) for a long time, you accumulate a boast to your AP while being reognized by many AG users as someone who is wise, thoughtful, and always reliable to ask for help.
In fact, they've been considering making it harder to get AP.
Rating points has no insurance people, it has a very high chance of being removed first.

You're not THAT old! Sure, you've been here for some time, but some people have been here since 'Games Of Gondor' or two years at least. Consider yourself 'Still in the prime'.
If a comment worthed 10 AP everybody had more AP...U make 10 comments u make 100 AP but the other guy who made 11 comments would be 110 AP. in reality a comment worths 2 AP so u have 20 AP with 10 comments and the other guy 12 AP (with 10 com)....whats the diference? really dont understand ur idea.
yea i agrre u should get armor points for playing or favoriting a game but i think if the number for a comment or a rate should go up at all it should only be 4 or 6
