Your opinions on this?

I personally think they should have a military tribunal judge weather or not they're guilty, instead of having a public trial. Not only is it going to cost millions to the sate of NY but the people whose loved ones died that day are going to be forced to suffer through it again.

whether its tried publicly or not, the families of the dead would still suffer somewhat

But if they were tried in public where media access is allowed, the families of those people would have to constantly suffer through footage, facts, and details of that day.

over three thousand people were killed in those attacks, it would be almost impossible to avoid hearing about it considering the courthouse it scheduled to be in is right down the road from wall street.

Shoot them in the chest. Not the heart, but somewhere that will both hurt and kill.

Security costs, you know there's just going to be some guy with a very itchy trigger finger, not to mention they'll have to block of traffic and all this will occur for weeks, had it been a military tribunal this mess could have been over in five minutes. I mean they're going to be found guilty obviously but this being federal court this case is going to be tied up for weeks.

Just keep a few guns pointed at their head and I don't think security costs would mount up quite so high. And even so Millions is a huge exaggeration. Maybe 1/10 of that.

Many of these characters are facing capital offenses.

It will be millions, just with the trial itself. Then couple the hundreds of police officers, blockades, snipers, security guards, the like, it will be VERY expensive.

I personally don't see anything wrong with a public trial. As to the cost, no-one likes NY anyway. XD
