well i don't know Wodern Warfare 2 is pretty hot right now,All ready past halo3 so i have 4 thoughts 1.Modern Warfare 2 2.Halo3:ODST 3.Halo3 4.Resident Evil 5
Modern Warfare 2 DEFINITELY!! In case you don't know, you get about a million unlockable weapons, specialized killstreaks and deathstreaks, perks and PRO PERKS!! (you get pro perks by using perks.) And that's online only. Single player is a great experience, both playing and cinematically--like you control climbing up a mountain with ice picks. Or you can pull out your Glock 18 while snowmobiling down a mountain.
Sure, Bad Company 2 might have destructible environments, and MW2 only has a few things like those, but I'll take CoD over Battlefield any day.
Oh.. that's hard. I've played many many great games in my life. Games that were amazing at the time, but nothing now. Games that are still amazing today. When I was younger, I would be hooked to those Spyro games for the Playstation haha. Back then, those types of games were some of the best available. Today, Halo 3 and Modern Warfare 2 are very addicting. Along with Rock Band 2, but I just love rythm games. So, it's really hard to say the "best game ever", considering games that everyone used to think were amazing 10 years ago, and the games we have today.
Good grief, has no one played an N64 game? Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is easily my favorite game, and every single one of my friends agree. It's also been voted #1 game of all time on GameFAQS.com, along with FFVII. If you haven't played it, seriously, quit what you're doing and go now.
Best game ever is a toss-up between Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the original Super Smash Bros. (N64), and Super Mario 2 for the NES. I've enjoyed them all about equally, but I've definitely played Super Smash Bros. the longest (due to the great multi-player).
Recently released games aren't as great and innovative as they should be; I highly doubt that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, however great it may be, is going to still be talked about 10 years from now.
