Cold War was the US's own damn fault. They should have seen all that coming.
He was Jewish. The Nazi's would have killed him anyway.
mmmmmhm. although, if you think about it... The Nazi's had some really revolutionary scientific studies going. They could have tried to manipulate Einstein, as they did counterfeiters.
Just for anyone who caught it, yes I did completely rob the movie "Counterfeiters" of all it's points.
I think (Eintein) created the nuke because he saw it as a way to end the war, and, potentially PREVENT future wars. Mutual destruction works against even the most arrogant person.
Cold War was the US's own **** fault. They should have seen all that coming.
Nothing really came of the cold war except the space race, is that so bad?

O_o It has been said a number of times Einstein did not create the nuke.........or A-bomb, I believe there is a difference, but I don't really know my weapons of mass destruction too well on a technical level. I think it was beleived the A-bomb would potentially end wars because no one would want to go to the point where anyone would have to drop such a weapon ever again, briefly, but it just caused more tension than anything, still does.

Well there was a lot of fear, and a lot of indirect bloodspillage in a number of smaller wars that both sides funded...I can't quite remember, my history class didn't elaborate too much on the topic, too busy with the Revolutionary War we've never ever heard about fifty times in our life =P Cold war times also spawn some interesting video games, so there's another thing that came out of it .
