A few friendly tips for you. You seem like a good dude, felt like taking five seconds out of my day to help ya out. Nobody participating in my RPGs are online right now anyway, so why not? 1. Use proper grammar. I'm not kidding. It makes you seem much more professional and makes your posts easier to read. 2. Describe the scene. Treat it almost like a story. One-sentence replies don't go over so well. 3. The more, the better on character sheets. Never forget the teams or important stuff like that. 4. Putting multiple-choice options is fine, but it's always good to add an extra "make your own option" choice so that if the player has a good idea for what to do, they can use it. 5. Originality. I know they say that there are no original ideas, and I'm being a bit of a hypocrite on this one, but people like original ideas better than old ones, plus it makes you seem like you put more thought into it. Right off the top of my head, I can list three RPGs very similar to this one. Nothing wrong with that, they've been dead for quite some time, I'm just saying. The Forum Search accessory is very handy in times such as these. 6. Do not overpower your character. They need a challenge, a problem, a dilemma, in order for it to be interesting. The ability to just hotwire or blow up a car? Boring. How 'bout you make some skills for stuff like that? Anyway, yeah...hope that helped.
