Since a lot of people are agitated/annoyed/irritated (you name it) about a lot of glithes and problems that happen to the ArmorGames site, why not have a small section on the homepage where they announce with small short lines what they are doing?

This way users can keep track and don't have to complain that much about their problems with the site.

This way the users are kept 'happy' and the forums won't be flooded with threads on the same topics and problems...

Oh, we've wished that for what, a year now? But thing is, the glitches have gone pretty much away (The big ones that really cause problems), and there are only a few small straggling ones that will either go away or just tickle us forever.

This way the users are kept 'happy' and the forums won't be flooded with threads on the same topics and problems...

That would be great... But what happens if the admins and AG coders don't really know exactly what a situation is? Or they just don't have the time to tell us? I don't think many people like writing bug protocols.

I see what you mean, as in... if the users don't report bugs and glitches in the suggestions forum, they don't know if there is a problem and what that particular problem is?
Guess it's living with the minor difficulties in life then... =D

And the last part in your statement is soooo right! I think they have enough on their hands as we speak, with all the requests, problems and development of AG going on I wonder if they sleep...

Of course they don't sleep! They drink coffee every five minutes, have a close-to-death metabolism and no social life... Not ( I think so). They have a lot on their hands, but at least they keep the site up.

No, I saw loads of new users who hadn't written forum posts before posting glitch reports. Big ones are quickly found, and small ones rooted out at some point too. At least in the really big bug period (That was not fun to be round in).

'A-men' to that. Sometimes when I read all the new threads popping up about small glithes, I can't help but wonder if they are not simply melted into their computers and became a part of the AG system! :P
No, I really DO understand they have a lot on their hands, just wondered if this idea would make it easier for the users to help them understand what's going on and stop asking for things for the 10th time...

At least in the really big bug period (That was not fun to be round in).

The birth of AG you mean? I was on this site playing games already, just not a user/member then... I waited for 1.5 year before joining, don't ask me why...

Nope, I wasn't even there then. I'm talking about 1 and a half years ago, when the site (Mainly user features) were brought to their knees by bugs and glitches. It was a nasty period.

You'd have to talk to some of the really old users (Most of them have passed on) about the days of 'Games Of Gondor', the first version of AG.

Ouch... I guess with starting a new website comes a lot of problems and glitches, that's normal. And I certainly hope that the hackers don't get the idea of ruining it for us now by hacking this website... that would be a real shame!

Guess you're talking about the users in the leader baord top 10. They are one since the beginning... that, or they ar either mods or admins...

Funny. Two users with the same problem. I remember joining this site the day I found it (I was kind of rash and naive in those days). I don't know why. I liked the site's feeling and it suited me.

yeah, it's really, really old. Older than pretty much every user. So old it died years ago...

Nope: I could tell you some of them that haven't been here since Gondor (Some of the them actually made it to the top 10 in 6 months): Russianfreak, Tennisman and Ernie are all younger than me(According to AG age).

Still, the fact remains... why not have a section on development on the front page? We kind of wondered off in our typing rush! LOL =D

So to bring the topic back to life for debate...
