That cat video was really disturbing... Don't do that again.
_______________________________ I would have to go with cats, because they are smart enough to realize they don't need to work hard for their owner(if their owner is me). They also don't really care if you're gone a lot, as long as they're fed and cleaned after. Most can also keep themselves alive in the wilderness.
Cats dont run away and dont need a to be tied up, you also dont need to pick up their poop. Plus they dont slobber on you when you pet them and their cheaper.
Cats. They are small, can care for themselves, in general more intelligent than dogs, don't lick you all the time, can be held much easier than the average dog. They go outside or in a litterbox and are easier to house train. They cost less. Cat's do not run away or get lost and they don't get run over by cars in general. My family has only ever had one cat that might have got hit by a car, and even now we are not sure. Cats are quieter as well. I don't see how dogs can stand up to this
