Why no Hanukkah count down? Lol, I'm not Jewish, but I like pretending to be. Even though I have no idea what Jewish people do for the holidays (when I asked my Jewish friend, she informed me that she rapes people for Hanukkah, lol.)
How d'you know she was joking? 0.o Uhmm...I think they light candles on a menorah and give people presents for eight days, with Hanakkuh. I think that's what happens. Mostly.

Why do you want to count down the days till Christmas, really? Can't you keep it for yourself? Why make a topic about it? It's pointless, if you know what day it is, you won't need to make a countdown of it!
-If you don't want to partake, don't -Time zone don't matter. Who cares about a few hours off? No one wakes up @ 2AM to post on AG anyways. -while it lacks a topic, there is still a themed discussion to be had. I mean, you don't need to TELL people to be excited about Christmas. And I doubt anyone will spam this topic...most of us do have a conscience (not really).
Besides the OP. Which actually is reason to lock it, as the OP is not detailed enough, it leads to pretty much nothing but count spam, and so on.
While that may in fact be true, I have no reason to believe this is spammy. I mean, look at the past 2 pages. People have only posted twice, if not once. If you are really that concerned about spam, look at the Art section
