I know quite a few jews. All of them eat bacon and do not feel like they have committed a sin. *I take that back, Most Jewish girls are vegetarian* Judaism has modernized. I my jew friend told me that the whole pork law was to prevent plague, cause back in the day, pork wasn't the most sanitary meat out there. Jew don't slaughter animals any more, and will accept organ donors from any one. I've been to a couple of Bat Mitsfazs *think Jewish confirmation into the church*. Mostly they sing in Hebrew and read from the Torah. Its pretty much like a christian church, but they talk in Hebrew.
Secular Jews are not representative of Judaism as you will not find religious Jews scarfing down pig. 80% of the Jewish population does not practice Judaism.
Jews are waiting for the Messiah that Christians believe has already come and gone. It is not pretty much like Christianity.
