hey all! ive heard alot about this game : maplestory. im actually downloading it right now. but i still have an hour to ask you all what you think of it.
Maplestory was fun for me. But when I reached lvl 55, it lost it's touch. I kept playing though, since I had nothing better to do. The only thing that kept me playing Maplestory were my friends. It's a huge grind game, but I'm not sure about 70+, cause I quit the game at lvl 70.
Mind you, I haven't played the newest additions to the game, so it might be better then when I played.
Ok, all my friends at my school play it right, well i dont know about all but alot. I've tried the game and i started out as a big apple. (lol) then i stop playing right after that beacuse then i know that it was going to be kidish and vary stupid.
My opinon is probley not about the game, you migth like it or not i dont know, but it is vary krappy and it makes you computer go slow since its such a large file.
I've had a MapleStory account for a number of years, and I've gone back to play it now and then. It's cute, and I love the old 2-D games from my youth so MS really appeals to me. It's not a perfect game. There's way too much grinding, even where a lot of quests are concerned. (Do not get me started on the Cursed Doll quest.) Overall, it's a really well put together game.
In response to Zactons' complaint about MS slowing down your computer, in all the years I've played I've never had that issue. It's either his/her computer or a lag problem that showed up after a recent update to the game. It's a problem I've not heard that they've taken care of yet but it shouldn't be too long.
i had it but i had to uninstall it cause it messed up my computer but when i played it it got kinda old really fast even when meeting lots of new people it still got boring
I've played for over 5 years and I love it. I'm 18 years old, but it still isn't old to me. It is a little kiddish, but that's what makes it unique. None of this ogre and fantasy bull that's in every other MMORPG. I quit for about a year because once I got to level 71 leveling up takes WAY too long, but nowadays the experience needed to level up went way down, mostly because Nexon (the game's maker) received tons of complaints. I would suggest playing it until level 45 or more, and if it's still extremely boring, then quit. I know a lot of people can't stand the constant grinding, and I'm with you. But once you get some friends it makes it loads more fun.
