So I decided to make a "question" of the day series, which will span until New year's day. It's also a science project, but forget about that 'til later.

First question:

Would oranges (the fruit) have been called a different name if they actually were naturally a different color?

I wouldn't bet money on it. Bananas aren't called 'yellows' and apples are not called 'reds'. At least not in my social circles.

Round = spherical

These words do not always mean the same thing.

Small example:

Circles drawn on a piece of paper are round. They're not 'orbs' or globular and therefore, are not spherical..

If it was green I'd call it a red.

Russia would be the primary source.

If it was red, I'd call it a green, and my pond at my old house would be the primary source.
