You only have to kill Captain Hunt to win. You don't need to kill his sidekicks to win. It's like the Corrupter in Zone 7. You don't have to kill the orbs to win.

Is there a way to have the ai attack only him because they keep attacking the other two when they have cast energy shield on themselves?

Unfortunately, the best you can do with them is do offensive, where they attack random targets.

Defensive attacks random targets if they aren't healing either. Veradaux isn't good for offensive.

Tip though - Captain Hunt throws up a desperate shield. It doesn't pay off to attack only him, you might get killed by the 2 sidekicks. I would aim to kill the sniper first, the medic doesn't do much.

Well, what you can also do (I've done this before) is to send Captain Hunt into the desperate shield, then attack the sniper. Then Captain Hunt won't give you all those fire debuffs. Roald isn't very good at defensive either. But his "Greater Purpose" buff is very good too. But when Roald is on Relentless he does "Shell Shock" Which in many cases can be a life saver.

Right after Roald uses Greater Purpose put him to relentless. Then after maybe 5+ times switch 'im to defensive/phalanx.

That would work too, but I suppose it's just a personal preference as to what mode he should be on. It can also depend on what class you're using too.

when i was a psycho lightning i crit captain hunt when he was right above the threshold for the shield and killed him, thats how i realized you only had to kill him, was funny to with only 4 turns and he was dead, but yeah i would say go for the sniper first especially if you dont have anything to mitigate his damage

I find, however, that the mages, knights and priest combos are much harder then captain hunt.

Yeah. It doesn't seem right. Except for the fact that sometimes the Sniper gives himself that insane buff. But yeah. I actually tried to beat the combo so many times that I actually got it down to a system, and it got so exact that the entire battle depended on 1 move 0_0.

When the sniper casts the buff? (What was it again? The 1 turn 400% damage one? Aim for the heart?)

hey firetails, he does two buffs, one is lock and load which is, i think, 200%, and the other, is crouch, which is 300, total of 500 :O

Yeah, but one is in physical piercing, I forgot which other one was in...

Crouch increases Physical Peircing by 200%. Lock and Load increases damage by 400%. So the equation is (assuming he gets a critical hit)

(amount of damage) x 5 x 3
or:
(amount of damage) x 15

Which is massive.

Sorry, Lock and Load increases damage by 300%, and Crouch increases Physical Piercing by 250%.
