Okay here is my point. some people including me want to upload pictures, i know this can be doon but only if you find the picture on google image and the image is online. I was trying to put up a forum game that involved pictures that i had drawn in a program and saved to my hard drive, i clicked the image button and it asked for a URL. i've been on AG for a while and I cant say i wasent expecting it but i really think something should be done about this.

You can upload your image to an image host (Photobucket, ImageShack, TinyPic, etc.) and then use the URL of the uploaded image.

Yeah, it's just bbcode, pretty standard for all forums. You type in , then you put a link to you picture, then you type in, and there you go. If you want you image to be clickable, you type in [URL=www.website.com][IMG]www.image.com[/IMG][/URL].

Just out of curiousity... is that the same way how the 'link behind a word' works? I tried do do that several times but I cannot get that to work...

Pretty much. By "link behind a word" you mean something like this, right?

To do that you type in [URL=www.website.com]your text here[/url].
