This place has become a hotbed of flamers and trolls, and all the mods do about it is crack down on the wrong people. There are so many better places to discuss like a mature person. Let's name a few:

Anyway, no, AG is not a good place to "talk". Why? Because there are a lot of chat sites out there, where your posts does not magically disappear when you make tiny posts. So if that is what you want, sure go away. Free speech is funnily enough not something without restrictions. We have rules on this site, just like most sites has, and if you are unable to follow them, you can leave too. Even the real world has restrictions on free speech.
So please, if you don't like this place, no one will be able to stop you from leaving. Just close your comments before you leave.
Now, on the topic, I have never been social, but of the people of art and literature, I have heard the dA-chat should be a nice place at times with your friends... The dA-forums are filled with drama, though. Oh, and newbie trolls could go to the furry forums. They are easy to freak out, or so I've heard. Carry on on topic.
