Viruses are very easy to get rid of by yourself, depending on how much experience with computers you have. Instead of going to get it fixed, go to your system restore program and restore it to a week before you got the virus. That'll keep everything you have, exept the virus thing and the things you JUST got.
Another thing that you could do is find a friend who's good with computers and teamviewer with them so they can fix it for you. I do that with my friend all the time. If you can't find someone, and you don't want to pay 200 bucks to get it fixed, I can fix it for you via teamviewer for you.
