I got the Baron around 20,000 hp. Do you have to kill him or wait for his 'minions' to come and get him? And if you do have to kill him then tell me the best abilities to go with it. My abilities are Restore 3/3, SafeGuard 4/4, BloodShed 4/4, Regulate 2/3, Impair 1/4, and Subversion 1/1. Tell me if these are the best or worst abilities to use against the Baron becuz he is starting to piss me off.
If you have a problem with the baron, Regulate is very important. It drains his focus, and at 0 focus, he casts his "Deep Burning" effect, which gives him focus, but damages him for a lot. Flash Freeze may come in handy to stun him, and Impair can be used to increase his "Deep Burning" damage. Some defensive abilities, like Safe Guard or Restore are good too. With your skills, I advice you to do this(I'm not sure whether it'll work, but it's worth a try): Regulate Vapour Cannon Impair(if you want a 6% damage boost) or Safe Guard or Restore Safe Guard Safe Guard Restore Restore Slam(as a finisher during "Holy Scars) or Safe Guard or Restore
Cast Regulate whenever you safely can, cast Vapour cannon when having focus problems, cast Impair every twelve turns(if you want that 6% damage boost), cast Safe Guard/Restore when you think you have to, and cast Slam if his focus is higher then 30(if it's lower or equal, and he hasn't got a deep burning already, cast regulate) during his "Holy Scars effect(if you have it equipped, if you don't have it equipped cast Impair if your strength is higher then your instinct, and Vapour Cannon if your instinct is higher then your strength).
Hey thanks but he always does that tick tock on me and i always have to put restore or safe guard. Any ideas to stop this ability of his from happening?
Try casting Flash Freeze or Mind Freeze. Mind Freeze limits his abilities to Electrical Storm, Deep Burning and Holy Scars. Flash Freeze just stuns him, which is better. If you use Flash Freeze/Mind Freeze with low insinct, I would recommend keeping them level 1, and using Vapour Cannon. Though to be honest, I didn't get legend with an hydraulic(though I beat the corruptor with it), so this might not be a winning strategy in a legend run.
Get maxed flash freeze/mind freeze and regulate. First flash freeze, regulate, flash freeze again, regulate. He will now be at 40 focus...mind freeze him. He will get to 60 focus, then do 2 regulates to get him back to 40. Keep doing this until flash freeze CDs, and then flash freeze-regulate-flash freeze-regulate again...and finally make him get down to 0 focus and deep burning himself.
You might want Roald on defensive (I've heard he stuns more this way) and Veradux...on whatever makes him electro bolt the most whenever you don't need healing, because electric storm is very annoying.
