I've just recently found this weird problem with comments. It would help if other people who have experienced this problem might report it too.

I recently tried to post a comment here. It was here that I first noted the bug.

I was trying to write a comment, when I noticed I couldn't go back and forth or up and down with my arrow keys. I found this weird, and tried to reload the page, while copying and pasting the comment. I experienced this problem:

(To those that don't know, the gray text are actions that cannot be used.)

So I lost what I wrote on my comment. Thing is, when I checked if this glitch was on my Profile, it turned out it wasn't. It only happened once to me there. So it can't be my computer, it must be the site.

Is the site starting to prevent the copying and pasting of comments? Because that doesn't make sense.

Try out the link. If the same thing happens to you, tell it! This is a really annoying, and sometimes devastating bug.

Well the reason why you can't copy, paste, etc. is because you didn't do the necesarry action.

For instance, you need to highlight something before you can copy it, and you need to have copied somethign before you can paste something. Same applies with cut and paste.

I'm not sure what's with select-all though. I'm pretty sure it was just a small user-error though.

I did that. I didn't mention it, but I took the screenshot above after I experienced the glitch and lost my data. I just made that as a rash example.

You can tell as well because I wrote some random letters there instead of a real comment.

I'm not sure what's with select-all though. I'm pretty sure it was just a small user-error though.


I don't know either... It seems to have gone away. Let me try again... Yeah, it works. Guess it was one of those really rare and microscopic bugs... Maybe an error or something.

The problem is you tried it twice, so you have to wait 30 seconds and try again lol.

WOW! A thread all about a comment to be made to 'my little person'...?! I'm seriously flattered! *blush* =D

I haven't experienced this with any comments made to anyones profile, but then again the bugs are numerous on AG... guess one just crawled into your apple for a short while!
