I decided my first AG post would be about my favorite band from Omaha.
(I'm from Council Bluffs, which is basically a suburb of Omaha.)
My vote is for Paria.

Paria is utterly INSANE. Take all the best parts of The Dillinger Escape Plan, Between The Buried And Me, and The Red Chord. Toss them in a blender. Voila! You've got Paria.

im from denver colorado so we have been having a pretty good music scene so far.
are biggest band that came from colorado was the fray hands down. but my favorite would be a band called the flobots. amazing band with amazing thoughts and amazing talent. they remind me of a raping DMB.
3oh!3 is another good group too.... they got kinda old after the first 2 months just like any other rap song....
meese is a great band from colorado as well... i dont really know how big they have made it nationally butt they have had a few hits here
Well I'm from York so I think the closest bands are Arctic Monkeys (Sheffield) and Kaiser Chiefs (Leeds) great bands with great roots even if Leeds is abit shit lol.
Jet Set Satellite are my favourite, but there's a HUGE amount of bands from where I was born. The most well-known are probably Neil Young and The Guess Who, though.
