Alright, I came up with this idea out of the blue so please bear with me here, I have to make a timeline first of all. And then I'll start the real story and requirements and yadayadagameyadayadastuff.
2012: Russia creates a ban on tobacco and beer./ Inhabitants protest./ Jordan Freelance, an old war hero, becomes president of America. 2014: Russians start revolting when protesters are shot down./ Russians are split as Rebels and Loyalists. 2016: Rebels start a Cival War./ U.S. declares neutrality. 2018: The war takes a bad turn when the Loyalists start brutally killing families of Rebels./ Freelance re-elected. 2020: Loyalists bomb U.S. cruiser, believing Rebels were on ship./ U.S. declares war with Loyalists. 2021: U.S. liberates liberates Rebels in Western Russia./ Loyalists bomb The White House, Freelance survived. 2022: Freelance becomes elected 3rd time./ Laser Rifles become common weapons on the battlefield. 2023 (March 4): Current Day/ U.S. begins liberating Northern Russia
Alright, most of the game takes place on the battlefields of Northern Russia, with the first one in Talnakh. The story would be told from a squad-based point of view. And there are certain people in the story that need to be played that I can't do. And naturaly I am the American squad leader.
Americans Commander Durbin (lol) 21 Headstrong leader, takes care of his squad. Lieutinent Andrews 20 Intelligent, listens to orders without hesitation. Lieutinent Matthews 21 Brash, listens only when he feels like it, in ways opposite of Lieutinet Andrews Sergeant Wallace 19 Cunning, comes up with good battle plans, at other times the silent type.
Russians Praporshchik Andrei Quick, dicator-like leader. His enemies, as well as his allies, even fear him Starshina Agafiya She is secretly a Rebel spy. She is actually good-humored and joyful, but she acts like Andrei. Mladshy serzhant Gavrill As the name suggests, he is greatly religious. Mladshy serzhant Afanasi He has only been in the army for 2 months but he has already been in several major Loyalist winning battles.

Okay people.... I know that a world war involves the whole world, and that's part of the story. But all wars start with just 2 factions, and slowly the entire world joins in. And that's what I'm doing. It's at the near beginning of the war.
