this ones about weapons. list your favorite old age weapon like the katana or the broad sword or axe. something like that also include what type like germanic, viking broadsword stuff like that
mine is a japanese katana because of how samurai were trained to use them and the beauty that went along with it
Wow, Crossbows are just amazing! You don't even have to grab an arrow out of your bag you just keep the ammo on the crossbow!
Crossbows are heavy and even in trained hands take a good amount of time to reload. A normal shortbow is more practical, as you can fire off more shots and carry it around much more easily for the tradeoff of less power.....
Which brings me to my favorite medieval weapon!
The Longbow. It can penetrate a wide variety of armors, except for steel plate, has a long range when needed and the ability to be very, very accurate. I don't know about you, but I'd fear a volley of Longbow fire more than I would a Crossbow or Shortbow.
My favorite weapon is the Zweihander. it was 6 foot pommel to tip, 4-7 pounds in weight. Many foot soldiers used them to take out pikesmen in medieval war. Also used by Siegfried/ Nightmare in Soul Calibur.. XD
Well... I'd say wakizashi. Unlike katana, it wasn't war weapon. It was something samurai always had by himself. Even disarmed, or when in guest, he could still use it for self-defense or honor rites. Also, as I'm unhealthily obsessed with ninji, it is much more suitable for assasinations. :P Stolen wakizashi would be most possibly ninja assassin's weapon of choice... Tanto (japanese dagger) qualifies, too. As for ranged weapon, I'd prefer composite shortbow. It had shorter range than longbow, but could be used from horseback, it was generally more accurate.
You can launch huge rocks over your enemy's walls, obliterate soldiers if aimed correctly, and even spread disease or fire through your enemy's city. A weapon in one's hand can only do so much, but a Trebuchet can do all of the above tasks (referring to any hand weapon's), and then some.
