this is for those bands who had the potential to be that band that would make music for 235-300 years ex:metallica, rush, ect.let us honor these bands who for some reason didnt make it all the way for whatever reason.to me the band that had the most potential to be the amazing was pantera.pantera was already legendary already but they could have still been making music today if there guitarist didnt die.i mean 3 albums with atleast 3 hits on each is pretty good. just imagine what it would be like now.
I think Billy Squier, a singer from the 80's, had a lot of potential. I believe he is still alive and I'm wondering why he is not creating any new material; or if he is, why I'm not hearing any of it.
Buddy Holly, but that sort of goes without saying.
If it were possible I could see Metallica making music that far in the future.Although it wouldn't be super as it was 20 years ago, and their latest album.Any band would end up making the same music over and over again.
One band that would always be incredible? Yes.Every single one of their albums has been stellar, and they showed no signs of slowing down until they had lineup problems and Anderson left.If the ABWH lineup was making music for 300 years, the world would be a much better place musically.
