who thinks the Republicans are going to be really powerful again, personally I'm a Democrat but i want your opinion. Who thinks the Republicans are going to take back the house and senate?

i think that is a great idea. i am a republican but i thought Obama was going to do a better job than McCain and i still think he is doing a better job. Obama bit off more than he can chew with healthcare but he did bite it off and he still is chewing. Not many people would try this because is it political suicide if it dosn't work out. P.S. i think politicians are too busy trying to keep their job rather than doing their job.

In order for one Air strike or anything within North America to blow up because of the US, you need conformation from the president.
That's just confirmation. He's not the one deeming it necessary to use it, the military is. The only way the president could take control is if congress, the Senate, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and his cabinet, we are dead. Which isn't going to happen. He would die too.
