for those of you who keep track of dream theater as much as i do would know that this album is absolutely PHENOMENAL the genius writings of JP and MP are just absolutely pure genius and talent.

honestly (it might just be because i worship dream theater and MP) this is the best album of 2009 hands down. for those of you who havnt had the time to listen the the whole album or any of the tracks 10/10 recommendation.

i honestly dont know why i havnt posted a thread about this yet....

but thoughts and oppinions on this album and band.

I'm a huge John Petrucci fan. He is an awesome guitarist. I even have his signature JP DiMarzio Pickups on my custom Shecter Hellraiser.

Back on topic, sadly there aren't that many Dream Theater fans anymore. I'm afraid they will probably fade away.

"A Nightmare To Remember" is my favorite song on that album.

Dream Theater overall has had great success, but honestly I don't see how they've made it this far. Don't get me wrong though, I'm a huge Dream Theater fan, "Panic Attack" being my favorite song (by them).

I actually do like their new sound a little better.

I do like their new sound better. My favorite album by them would have to be Octavarium.
