The rumors on the web say that the next Call of Duty will be set in the Vietnam war. If this is true how do you think it will affect the gameplay and how will they setup a story line
If IW are taking part in this new game, then no, I am not going to buy it at all. After playing Modern Warfare 2 I am not giving a single penny to IW.
As for the gameplay, I don't see how there'd be much effect. Crawling through jungle, and hiding behind trees would make a very stealthy game, which would probably be more fun and require more thought than the Modern Warfare series.
The storyline will probably be based around the Vietnamese War, no crap about fictional Russian terrorists . . . Oh wait, Infinity Ward are involved, forget what I just said. Back in the first Call Of Duties (number one, specifically) the creators did a very good job of keeping to the real facts and making very involving gameplay, if IW do not get involved with the storyline (or anything at all on that note) the storyline will probably be great and very similar to the real thing.
I just want to see what IW do in this game, and read about all the crappy features before I buy it over-priced.
i heard november of this year but then again thats not very long from now so i dont see how it would be another epic game. Also does anybody know if infinity ward will be part of the creation team

Umm no your wrong. Infinity Ward makes modern based games with modern technology and senery. Treyarch makes older games with older weapons and scenery. You can tell from the modern warfare and world at war that the graphics are diffrent and with diffrent quality. World at war had that sting to the graphics that made it feel so real and as if you were there back in the day, while MW2's graphics are all like new and too high defenition, they dont have that feel to the maps or anything. Both fo the game's maps are way diffrent too, MW2's maps are haloish, too many barriers and stuff, the buildings arnt well placed. While in world at war the buildings where in great positions and the maps were perfect down to the last detail, like where there should be grass and shouldnt be. I honestly like treyarchs work better than infinity ward, and if they work in cod7 im not buying it, id go back to like halo or not online rpg games...
