What I mean my wispier option is that you can comment on other people's profile without anyone else seeing(except the mods). i just think that it would be a good idea, yes?

These sort of things can't be copyrighted if you ask me... it's a simple commenting system (well simple... *grins*) so when you make one, it's nothing else than that!

It's a 'side effect' of people wanting to talk to eachother without the world listening in. Just like the telephone, only based on the internet, right?

Exactly what Stacey said... make it without AP. The probable action you present now for what is going to happen, IS actually already going on you know... I've seen it happen that two users comment on eachothers profile a lot to gain a lot of AP and somehow they get away with it! I even saw a guy (I think it is a guy) that wrote a lot of jibberish in his own profile comment and with that gained a lot of AP in the doing.
So, to cut a long story short, I still think it's a good idea to have a 'whisper option' installed, providing it's without the gain of AP!

Wait, we said that mods would be able to see whispers from other users, no matter what. And something like that would eventually be found by admins )They can see everything on the site, because they have the servers).

But they get caught the moment they write a comment on someone else's comments or in the Forums. Or they get into the leaderboard.

No AP at all would prevent the superspam, as demonstrated by Spammer and Bill. 1 AP would help those two get up there as the top 2, just half as quickly.
No AP, since with a whisper no one can really see it... unless mods really want to be able to see that, and check it... just more work for mods...
We have to be able to see it, otherwise we can't see if anything against the rules is going on. Which leads me (again) to: Use a messenger. Really, just do it. We won't looks through it, and you can harass other members without any mods doing anything. Of course, you will then be blocked by a majority of people with msn/aim, but heck.
Also kinda amused that people see spam and things that should be going on, and doesn't report it to get it fixed. On the two people talking-thing: I would still rather have them have an msn.

Like I said: Who talks with someone in a 50,000 or 25,000 comments conversation? They'd have to be nuts or have no life (Either bot or creep).

They wouldn't necessarily be "talking to each other"; they'd just be superposting the same comment over and over to each other to get points. It doesn't necessarily have to happen in one day. It could take months, but they'd manage to do it somehow. Spammer and Bill aren't your average everyday spammers.
Who are spammer and bill??? i think that we should have whisper option with no AP. Then, they could spam all they wanted and the only people it would affect was the person they were talking to.
There should be some limit to the number of comments that you can post per day (excluding mods). If people really want to spam talk then they should just get some sort of messenger. Whispering would work. Like a default of 5 whispers per day.
