I was walking home today and I realised that almost every week is listen to something different. I mean, there's bands I love and always listen to, but I usually find a new (well, not necessarily, just something I haven't listened to in a while) band and listen to it repeatedly. It could be a couple songs, or a few albums. So as I was thinking about this I realised, I'm awesome. Therefore, anyone who doesn't suck would also love all of this music. Now, where could I talk about a ton of music without annoying people? Well, no where really, but at least on this site I'm not pissing my friends off. Now, without further ado, I present to you, Crazy's Artist of the Week!
Trans-Siberian Orchestra
I've had some of their stuff on my iPod for a while, but I rarely listened to it. Well, I recently downloaded some albums and have been listening to it non-stop. In fact, I'm listening to it as I write this.
"But Crazy, what makes them so awesome?" You may may be asking yourself. "I don't even like classical music." Well, you see my friends, they are not your everyday orchestra. Imagine if the London Symphony Orchestra had a baby with heavy metal, and there you have it. They cover classical songs and more prominently Christmas carols. They take these songs, add some awesome guitar licks, intense violinists and turn the bada*s meter up to 11. But they still weren't happy with this, they thought they could do better.
So, their music is absolutely amazing, what can they do now? I'll tell you. Make the most amazingly elaborate live shows they can imagine. These shows include laser lights, in an array of different colours, loads of pyrotechnics and a floating stage or two. Overall there is nothing that even compares. Oh and to top it all off the tuxedos are a nice touch.
You can talk about how much you love (or god forbid hate) the bands I choose until my next update. Feel free to post songs you like or anything relevant to the band. And please think carefully before you post, I don't want this getting locked (as seems to be a trend with my threads). If you just reply with posts such as "cool" or "awesome" I will come down on you hard.
Well, it seems that people aren't too interested in this, therefore I'll do the only logical thing I can think of. I'll just keep posting here and stating my opinions that apparently nobody cares about. And now for the second installment of Crazy's Artist of the Week!

Now I've listened to electronic music of all sorts for quite a while now, but for some reason I always shied away from Deadmau5. Well not anymore, this week, after seeing a picture on Facebook (yeah, don't ask), I decided to give him a try, and boy was that a good plan.
Now there's not too much I can say about him, he's just awesome. The beats rock, the songs are different, and he dresses like a mouse for God's sake. Yeah, not as long today, oh well, here's a few songs to check out.
I like lady gaga, but mike doesn't. He says that the only thing that makes lady gaga different from any other pop artist is that she dresses up weird and makes weird music videos. I love her outfits, and i think her music is great too.
