This is a VERY broad topic but just put ur favorite video game genre and favorite game/series that falls into that category! It can be anything from turn-based RPGs to survival horror.

My fave (well faves) are both turn-based RPS's

Mario is platform/adventure game

Mass Effect 2 is a good combination of shooting and rpg.

My favorite game genre is action/adventure and pretty much any good first person shooter and by that i mean Modern Warfare 2.
