Are you retarded?

9m - 4 = -1
9m = 3
m = 3/9
m = 1/3

Next step

12(1/3) - 10 = X
4 - 10 = X
-6 = X

That's like grade 8 math, and not hard math at that.

Long division in 5th grade? I was taught it in 3rd grade. By 5th grade I had perfected it and moved on to early algebra.

you're a sophomore. stop worrying about the act and colleges and go have fun. you have junior year to worry about act when it's the only thing to worry about.

by the way, motherfuck long division.

Yeah, that's a b*tch. Though most math teachers at my school claim it to be a waste of time so we learn... I dunno, but it's a much much easier way to do polynomial division.

I'm pretty sure that polynomial long division counts as a kind of long division. Otherwise, it wouldn't have long division in its name. Its just way more badass.

Normal long division is easy as balls. But I haven't gotten in Algebra 2 yet. I'm in retard math because my teacher last year hated me like hell. He took points off every assignment for random reasons. If he couldn't come up with one, he would just say its my handwriting, which all my other teachers could read fine.
He also kicked me out of class and gave me detention for unpacking once. He said it was too loud.

lol i had a teacher like that once. I stole every chance i had to slip in something that isn't counted as disrespecting by the school whenever i spoke to her.
