no, I didnt see any of it. I sat through the entire movie and it never showed up.
the 3D was truly horrible, in all seriousness (theres a phrase you dont see me use very often). a desk in the background would pop out at you while the people in the foreground were less obvious. I bet I could do a better job.
And the story is cool too I think it deserves its praise.
The movie was great, but i didnt like how it ended too like..."good". And if it would ever happen, the humans would win >:O I didnt like how the humans acted, but come on, technology is better and stronger then does little creatures
its one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my entire life.
I agree. Now, if it had been a comedy, it would at least have had something to laugh at. It was too serious, though, and when a movie is too serious, it's unwatchable. Even if it is in 3D.
Are you people serious? Sorry for bringing this thread to the top, but holy crap. This movie sucked. It is all effects, nothing else. The ENTIRE point of going to a movie is to be entertained. Will you be entertained? Hmmm, let's see. What does Avatar have to offer...
-Horrible acting -Un-origingal storyline that has been used at least 5 times already -God awful dialogue. Seriously, I felt like I was watching a high school movie
That is entertaining apparently. And personally, District 9 had better effects.
Apparantly the guys who make south park have a bad opinion of the movie...and i share the same one...
Eric Cartman, in the episode "Dances with Smurfs" gets mad because Wendy changes his story of love and infiltration into love, infiltration, with minerals to be harvested, aka, Avatar. Cartman proceeds to go the movie, run out and throws out middle fingers while yelling, "You can't just take 'Dances With Smurfs' and call it something else!"
South Park developers obviously meant for this to be a reference to the same situation occuring with "Dances with Wolves" and "Avatar"
YOU CAN'T JUST TAKE "DANCES WITH WOLVES" AND CALL IT SOMETHING ELSE AND MAKE 2.5 BILLION OFF IT!
I haven't seen avatar but it sounds like a cliche movie. I'm going to say what I think the plot is:
Theres a planet that is still not inhabited by humans. Its run by Navi's right? And for some reason they need to invade it so they send in a hybrid man-navi to go to the planet and do some research or whatever in order to win. But he feels sorry for the Navi and fights for them.
Avatar is essentially a movie about a guy who likes a video game more than real life. He meets some creatures that look like a a mix between a cat and the Blue Man Group. He then betrays human kind for these cats and and their arrows some how can take down mechas and gunships. >_<
