Tell me why half of the forums on this Community are always misspelled? It makes me not even wanna read the forum I don't know if it's bc they type it fast or just they can't spell. But next time you do post please spell the words right...
Well, if you can't spell that's pretty sad, i don't know how you can make it through school...
It really annoys me when people don't spell things right in forums. It just makes the post hard to read it. I also get annoyed when people don't use proper grammar
It doesn't bother me much that some people make a lot of spelling mistakes. I think they're just lazy. It only annoys me when you can't read what they write.
Yeah that's what I'm saying it's like gah please! please! learn how to spell! It doesn't bother me so much when people post and they use abbreviations but when they just flat-out can't spell! That bugs the crap out of me!
I'd highly recommend at least attempting to have relatively good grammar before criticizing others' spelling. Last I checked, "Yeah that's what I'm saying it's like gah please!" and "It makes me not even wanna read the forum I don't know if it's bc they type it fast or just they can't spell" are not exactly works of literary excellence. Not only do you yourself have several misspellings in those sentences, but the latter example is missing a period. Ten points to whoever can figure out where the period should go!
What bothers me is when people believe that they have an excuse for bad spelling and grammar. I edit fanfiction, and I can't tell you how many people say "I'm 12, dno't be hattin on ma spellin" or "I dont spaek english wel, so ignor my speling mistaces." It's not doing you any favors to allow yourself to mispell. Spelling is a habit for good or ill. People who say "I only misspell things on forums; I never misspell words in real life" are probably lying.
I generally try and type in proper English. I usually capitalize the things that need to be capitalized.
Usually, the people that don't care about that stuff generally just want to piss you off.
But also remember that some people just can't spell. I don't really complain that much, but if it's 1337 sp34k or something that can be avoided, I fuss about it.
I also think it's sometimes really stupid what kind of things are misspelled, even though they seem so easy.. if i'm not sure of a word then i'll check it with a spelling checker or something.. It's not bad if you make a mistake once, but all the time and such bad english as what quillandsaber said with the dno't be hattin on ma spellin... i really dislike that:P if you are planning on seriously posting things on the forums it should at least be in a little bit proper english, otherwise you first have to figure out what someone said before you can respond:P
(but ofcourse i also make mistakes, i just hope they're not that bad:P)
