Google and Baidu. China and the West perhaps? I need opinions on this tricky issue. Personally, I've used both before, the latter for Chinese work, the former for anything else. (Google is making us stupid, trust me. There's even an article on that issue).

So, opinions?

Oh just to add on, luckily AG isn't owned by the PRC government or my post will get 'harmonized' as Chinese netizens say.

What is Baidu?

Baidu is a Chinese search engine. Baidu proactively censors its content in line with government regulations. The Chinese government censors search results.

Unfortunately I don't know much about the topic, so I will not say my opinion about it yet.

Don't like Google? Don't use Google. Censorship is death.

I prefer Google, but Baidu searches a lot better when it comes to Chinese sites, in my opinion.

Well, Baidu's shares are soaring in China. The founder owns about 2.8 billion US dollars worth of them.
