Hardly. Just because someone becomes mainstream doesn't mean they "suck".
I agree. The tendency to assume popular things are horrible is amazingly common. Even stranger is thinking things suck due to not being the target audience. Example, adult males complaining about Twilight or ten year olds insulting Barney.
On Lady GaGa, I'm not a fan. I don't really like her music, but I don't dislike it either. If it came on the radio, I wouldn't change the station, but I wouldn't go out of my way to hear it. Like most music, I'm apathetic.

They use them as scapegoats, because they're very easy to make fun of and it makes people feel better about themselves.
The reason I don't like Twilight is because it creates a whole new image for vampires that isn't what vampires are supposed to be like. They aren't supposed to be glittery, handsome, superfast beings that can eat garlic whenever the hell they want. Why can't Edward Cullen turn into a bat? Because Stephanie Meyer didn't like dracula because he was mainstream.
OMG im sick of this she is a woman
If she were a hermaphrodite, her name would be "Person Gaga", or "Shemale Gaga" (Gagamen?).
yes, i heard rumours about her gender and if she has one or not, but they are rumours. i am confused by her outfits and songs, and she is wierd in the head as well. i don't know what to think
Yes she wears weird clothes and sings weird songs, but thats just her way of expressing herself. It's just her style, not everybody has to like it as long as she's happy.
I love Lady Gaga. As many have said, even if people are talking about how crazy you are, they're still talking about you.
I think she's amazingly talented and I loove to watch her perform. She has stunning costumes (and a million costume changes, from what I've heard) and I she's so unique. People are always going to "hate" on what they don't understand or don't accept, but seriously, she came out of -nowhere- and now everyone knows who she is. That takes talent.
