I think that weird al is a brilliant lyricast, his songs crack me up, but i don't think he's all that great of a singer.

His videos are funny, but the songs are lame. They tempo is childish and the lyrics are less than par. My personal opinion is that he isn't good.

Well, he actually asks the artist to use part of their tune or the lyrics.
I was listening to the radio, and can remember countless times, peole used a beat from van halen or even his guitar solo and just replace the words, and then its called original.

Weird Al made me a fan when he took popular songs that I didn't like and made me like them! While the lyrics are silly, it sounds better than the original.
