Eleuveitie's a pretty good celtic metal band.

Nightwish is good too, though I'm not really sure that's metal.

Metallica is my all time fave. I also like King Diamond/Mercyful Fate, Iron Maiden, Kreator, Testament and Alice in Chains(don't know if you consider them metal, but a lot of people do).

Mercyful Fate, Metallica, Iron Maiden, White Wizzard, Judas Priest, Motley Crue, Megadeth, Dio.
