I thought I'd put up a thread of my random drawings in class. None of them will ever be remotely artistic, and most often using pen or pencil, with no colors.
Heheh, your drawings remind me of somone's else's from a long time ago, but yours are better........much better....
Is that an explosion near the middle or just really tall grass?
Lol....
-- You're not bad though, especially for 10min, as you seem to get the idea of what you're doing, I think you just need to work on detailing and effects, stick figures aside. I don't think you can really detail simple stickfigures too much...?
The plane's fin bothers me, it looks like the air cavalry are trying to imitate sharks and scare everybody out of the air instead of the ocean...
Haha, along with friends I used to do this as a kid. I got really detailed too...
As just a 'tip' I would say that you should have some kind of way to distinguish the two forces. You could use banners, but the easiest thing to do is make one side have empty heads (white) and the other filled in (black). Oh and add a lot more blood :3
Contrary to what you said, there is a sense of "art" in this. The thing I noticed was how you put random lines in the sky, and it def creates a sense of chaos and war
There are ways to make them look different... A single line would be a bullet path, but a sporadic flailing madness of strokes of various sizes would be blood . Much like the explosion...

What if it's a civil war :P.
My favorite part is the little people falling from the sky to their death.
I think those are bombs falling to blow up more people...not sure.

It appears Orion has something of an artist within him, he just doesn't know it XP.
Bombs...with arms and legs? Or am I just imagining things here?
I took those as the effects I often see on things, you know the 'air being pushed aside' thing with little trail, I could be mistaken, like I said, I'm not sure =(.
Those things falling out of the sky are artillery shells, and those are effects of the sides and behind.

Yay!
I'm glad people like it. I'll try and make some more here shortly.
