I had an interesting conversation recently about the unknown.

How can you classify something as unknown when the thought itself has to be known to exist to be labeled as unknown?

If this were true, anything ever unmentioned and not thought of is the unknown.

Do you know, or do you think you know?

Think is implied as being unsure, yet it is also the action required to have knowing.

Unknown can be a room no one has seen ever.It comes to mind what is in therebut is unknown cause no one has ever seen it.

Whatever the unknown may be. We as a society must try to recognize.. And though we may not in the end, with no form of familiarity. We must attempt through the most delicate channels to understand things, through trials of communication and experience, we can relate intent through the most basic means. Wheathe a positive outcome or not, we must proceed.

it's not really Unknown then.

We as a society must try to recognize..

I've already said: Humans as a collective knowing something is a paradox. Knowing can only be achieved by the individual.

so it is directly related to the sense of sight? tell that to a hallucinating schizophrenic.

i believe the unkown, iz only uknown if it is not known by any thing, or any one, it may be unknown to you, but maybe someone found out a bout it... and still, if unknown is known as unknown, then it is not unknown, it is known...

Also as well, what if what we see persoanlly, is not what is actually there?

What if we were all diffrent looking then what we see ourselves as? THEN EVERYTHING IS UNKNOWN. In that sense, anything can be unknown, but then it can be perceived as known.

The key word is Perception. It's what you perceive to be true.

Its impossible to know what the Unknown is, thus the name, the unknown usualy refers to something supernatural of.. well.. unknown.
I think we do not fully understand the power of that word.

It actually unlogical to classify something as unknown when it is actually known. Its just a way for someone to feel secure, or to cause another person to feel mysterious.

And how can you be sure that your perceptions are true?
