So in the submit form, it has a check box with this label:

"I verify that this game does not contain Mochibot, Mochiads, HeyZap or other 3rd party Micro-Transaction systems."

So Armor Games doesn't allow that sort of thing in the games it hosts? If so, how come I see ads in games like Gemcraft?

Those are normal everyday ads. Things like MochiAds and other 3rd part Micro-Transaction systems get into the game and are in the way. Ads you see on ArmorGames' games are just animated pictures that you can click on

Sorry that was confusing

Those are normal everyday ads.

They are simple things that are just at the start of the game.

It also keeps AG sort of clean, as MochiAids is sort of sinister... And what happens if one of those links leads to viruses and malware? AG would not be responsible, and couldn't control that kind of stuff. Imagine a little kid who goes on AG and downloads a trojan that steals his dad's bank account number and credit card number. And the ads themselves might have viruses...

In Gemcraft those ads are also in the debriefing at the end of every level.

So where do these "normal everyday ads" come from? How do you know they don't have viruses?

Ads are acceptable. Just not the ones that are specified when you submit a game.

But it says "or other 3rd party Micro-Transaction systems."

What kind of ads aren't 3rd party Micro-Transaction systems?

I'm curious to know what the difference is between these types of ads and also to know how to find the acceptable ones, because all I ever hear about is MochiAds.

Never heard of it either and I'm curious to find out what they are!

Allthough it seems like a spyware-kind-of-add to me?! :S
