If yo had to choose, food for everyone in the world or No more war which would you choose?

I would say No more war, because if there no wars, we could use the money intended for the war to feed the poor/sick/whoever needs food

Although horrible, wars can sometimes be necessary. They are also unavoidable in many cases.

care to provide some examples?

yeah austinn think a moment about your example....
the war against hitler was necessery because there was a war in the first place. so your example is pretty weak.

i was more thinking about an example of starting a war where there hasnt been one.

Food.

Just look at World War I. Without going to war who would stop Hitler from becoming even more powerful and continuing his agenda? That war was needed to stop him from furthering his evil deeds.

If an evil power grows big war is a must. You gotta stop that evil even if it means the going to war.

With food, though, we wouldn't have to fight over water and nutrition. No real disputes over land, all you need is a house. Things would cost less, and even if your the poorest loser out there at least your stomach's filled.

I was on the no war stance but when I read this it made sense.

As did this

Just an ironic tidbit. We HAVE enough food to feed everyone on Earth. We just don't share.

I can't provide a decent example (off the top of my head) but it's about point of view.
Some groups can find war as a necessary action to protect something (they believe in).

An example could be the American Civil War, and how the North saw preserving the Union as a necessity. Many also saw the extinction of slavery as a necessity, so pretty much the only solution is war.

I would say no war, but practically everyone is saying food.
