Hello everyone, my husband and I used to be republican until Pres.Bush pushed us into financial disaster back in 07-08. I find it very hard to trust the democrats too since they chose Pelosi to speak for them. I started surfing and found "The Heritage Foundation" web site//ww.heritage.org(add:/MountVernon/?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_campaign=Morning%2BBell)
last year and 8 months ago, or so, we changed our voter registration to Non Affiliated. He showed me the Mt Vernon Statement yesterday but I didn't read it until now. Finally, after all of the "tea parties", protests and the &quotooh-poohing" from congress, I think "We The People" are finally getting our act together. I'm mad as ----, and I'm not going to take it any more attitude has finally caught on,(this was a line off of the movie FM and the guy was leaning out of his open window, shouting out at the world).
I almost responded to some of your threads: "Is Obama a bad President", and others but I would prefer to tell you where I stand, show you the sources I base my facts on and share my knowledge of the Constitution/Bill of Rights which, I would be reading every day, like my life depended on it, if I didn't know what they say.
We the People are One Nation under GOD, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for All, is some of what our "Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag", says. Check out http://www.ushistory.org/documents/pledge.htm
In fact, check out http://www.ushistory.org/index.html for all of our historical documents. Any ?, chat w/me @ wajor59. cyl,(check ya later).
