How do you feel about in-game advertising? Games like Prototype having GameStop billboards, Need For Speed having Burger King signs and how you picked items up in Pikmin.

To me, it's not that a big deal. It doesn't really take much away from the game besides a "Heh, selling game space to somebody?" and that's about it. Nothing really bad about it, I suppose. Maybe we should all get a discount with the amount of advertising in certain games. =P

There's GameStop advertisements in Prototype? Never noticed.

In-game advertising does not take anything away from the game. In fact, I guess it adds a hint of unintended realism as well as giving the producer some money.

I find it takes me out of the game, However that's not what bothers me. I feel that xbox and ps3 games are expensive and therfore I shouldn't be seeing ads when I have spent alot of money.

I think it adds to the realism in the game.
Thats like playing grand theft auto, where Iggy Pop is the radio dj. It makes you feel as if the game is real.

I think In-game ads are way funnier when they are spoofs of actual companies. Those always make me chuckle, even lame ones.
