I just saw the statement that he said today about the whole thing that happened. I was wondering what everybody thought about the statement. I thought it was kinda robotic and it wasn't a really good apology.
I understand he's a public figure, but I don't see why he needs to explain himself to the public. It's none of our business, and this fascination with celebrity we have here in the US is too much.
Honestly I don't give a crap about what he does. As far as his statement goes.. I could have made that for him and said the exact same thing. Everybody knew what he was going to say, but for some stupid reason we still make him (or any other celebrity) say it. Of course it sounds robotic. What did you expect him to say, "Yo dawgs! Who's gonna give me my props?!?" I don't care what any athlete's do for their private lives, I just want to see fantastic plays when I'm paying to see them. I don't have to like the guy to enjoy what he does, Tiger Woods or any other celebrity.
It would be better off if professionals didn't try to make their ego's big and be consumed by greed. I'd rather watch them play their game day in day out. It's pretty sad how Tiger Woods, one of my dad's 'heroes' (He is a fan of golf) isn't doing good anymore.
He didnt have to appologize for anything he was just doing it for some PR. He was full of bullcrap. If he was really sorry he wouldnt have done it. He wasnt sorry for anything that hed done. It would have been alot more sincere if he'd shown real emotoin, and didn't have a written speech.
