Ah, I had this problem when I was new too. I think I made a thread on it too. this would fit better in the newbie section, but works fine here too.
Seeing as people answered the question here, I guess I can only contribute a little. If you has gone to the newcomers forum first, you would have seen this sticky: BB Code Guide by crimsonblade
It answers pretty much all BB code questions on AG (Like this question), and tells you how to post pictures. It also explains some unknown BB code of AG that no one really uses (Like links in an image, if you find that useful).
