OK so I'd like to think of myself as a pretty decent MW2 player.
anyway based off of my experience in the game here are all the types of players I've seen so far.
-All you can eat noob tubes (or Pro pipes) This player likes to use one man army and danger close and fires off noob tubes on his main weapon. quite annoying really because he is generally surrounded by claymores and can't be killed easily.
-Running and Gunning This player has an aggressive playing style that consists of traveling from spawn to spawn killing enemies.
-Running with shotguns This player generally ONLY uses the shotgun and has marathon, lightweight/stopping power, and ninja/steady aim. Quite the aggressive player and is easily able to decimate the entire team within minutes.
-Freerunning knifer marathon lightweight commando, tac knife. quite the annoying bugger when he gets into your spawn also uses a throwing knife to add insult to injury.
-Montage sniper This player seeks to humiliate you out of your mind with quicks copes and no scopes with stopping power slight of hand pro and steady aim usually uses acog scope for no scoping (aka g-shot).
-Camping sniper This player has got his tent and s'mores and is ready to pwn some noobs that wander into his sights he's got claymore all around him some nasty rangers to back him self up in a sticky situation.
-Camper This player aims his gun at a popular doorway hoping he can get a kill. sadly it works 80% of the time
-Rockets demo man C4 + rockets need I say more? multi-kills off the wazoo
-Defensive player This player stays in a general area protecting an objective or such. uses heartbeat sensor and ninja. a potent combo as well as scavenger and claymores
-Anti-camp Quite the annoyance to the camper uses scrambler pro (to defend against claymores) or sitrep plus some RPG/noobtubes to utterly piss the camper off.
-Boosters These bad kids can't earn a nuke by themselves because they do not have a very good reaction time so they have to kill stationary targets that dont shoot back to make themselves feel better, generally uses scavenger, coldblooded, ninja and a silenced assault rifle or sniper rifle.
how to counter, generally a well placed predator missile to your teammate who is being continuously killed will end that trouble. or sitrep and knowing the common boosting areas.

Yep. Although I don't often run to spawn pointsa. I tend to run around like a headless chicken and see what happens.

I don't use scrambler, as I hate that perk, but RPGs? Most definitely win.
OMG I forgot. theres also the riot shield class lmao!
-Riot shielder This player likes to piss you off by using a riot shield. used often in capping bravo on domination or CTF or even sabatage/S&D
When running into a group of them clustered against a wall the best course of action is to throw a semtax and pray to god none of them bothered to equip blast shield.
OK, let me give u the best known nicknames for them: Labelled in Bold indicates I use them, Italics means I don't think they need alot of skill, JUST because I said they might not need skill doesn't mean they're not strategically good, but if they use tubes for the sake of it, it's not funny / cool.
Rusher - Submachine gun, runs around quickly, usually good reaction time, and tries to pounce you Marathon Leightweight + Commando / Steady Aim Knifer (halloween boy) - Tact. Knife + Pistol Same perks as above.
Rusher No.2 - Shottys, same perks, pretty much same idea, except they can be countered easier at long range Camper - Weapon depends on range of camp spot, Effective enemy who lowers enemy morale and can get a handy choke spot for your team Bling / Sleight of Hand - Cold Blooded - Ninja
Camper / Sniper - Longer Range Weapon / Sniper Same thing except the pick the enemy off from isolated / high areas, Estate house, Afghan Ridge, etc Bling / Sleight of Hand - Cold Blooded / Stopping Power - Ninja
Rioter - Riot shield who can blockade the enemy and give you some cover, effective attention grabber and panic maker, again, counter at long range Marathon - Leightweight - Ninja / Scramber / Sitrep
Pro Pipe / Noob Tube - A guy either being strategic or trying to **** u off, either way, he's dangerous and good for lowering enemy morale
L337 H4X0RZ PR0 SC0PEZ - Those high-expectation "OMG HACKER" guys who lower everyones morale, or heightens peoples morale, depending on personality, usually bitching alot because they got shot while trying to do a 360-"r(n)o-scope", my bro in law is like this, used to be anyway...
New / Rubbish / Different game mode - People who have low ratios, it's not hard, if ur used to a different game mode mind... that can give u a headache#
Ninja - Silenced Assault Rifle, Sneaky person who usually NEVER sprints, keeps a low profile and often flanks you. Sleight of Hand / Bling - Cold-Blooded - Ninja.
Flanker - Any Weapon really. He goes around your weak spots, usually with good reaction time and is pretty damn good for taking you down all at once - he can use anything from Thumpers to Riot Shields
Wall-banger - Rediculous name / LMG's - They tend to attack random but popular spots without knowing if anyones there, very useful if it works well, but you do not need to be using LMG's to be one, or even a proper class for it (thats why it is in bold)
Score-Banger - In non-TDM games this guy usually goes for HQ, Flag, other kind of Flag, Bomb, Defusing, etc... You can't really say all the perks, there's probably about every one of them included...

they would use lightweight (pro) because it allows you to raise your gun faster.
scavenger danger close ( increases blast radius of RPGs) last stand ( incase you down yourself by accident when taking out a few people, you can take more people with you )
is a pretty damn effective class I've seen a few people use it
though it will never quite match up the javelin glitch class
I switch between runner-knife and camping sniper. It's weird but it works just fine; when they're searching for a camped sniper and you start stabbing the team in their backs...
LoL me too, its the only green perk pro I haven't unlocked yet
It just seems to be counter intuitive as a perk. It's meant to conceal you from the enemy, but all it does is tell you that your'e getting close to someone.
you also tend to post some pretty nice scores too. don't really know how you do it cause I end up getting shot in teh butt.
