this is a question of would you rather know everything your gov. does or would you rather be left in the dark about things such as torture and assassinations?
That's a tough question. I, myself, wouldn't mind knowing, simply because I can take it. But I also understand that exposure to some government operations may cause an unnecessary panic from one or the other half of a misinformed and constantly debating public. We certainly have a right to know; I would just prefer if everyone had the rational to understand the situation fully before making a judgement call. *sigh* Wishful thinking, I suppose...
