mine is "One Less Lonly Girl - by Justin Bieber" .... i dont like justin i dont at all i hate him more then life. but that song is pretty good...his music is alright..but thats besides the point...what song do you have to explane?
I know its crazy, antother one ive got is welcome home by coheed and cambria its got an epic feel to it but the lyrics and vocals are very wierd the singer sounds like jack black with a cold.
I have to explain Horrorcore to some friends, and Mindless Self Indulgence and Twiztid to others, and mostly unknown love song writers to even others.
Also few people not into underground stuff really understand Horrorcore or Psychopathic Records. Few people really into underground stuff understand "Lay Down Sally" coming from a guy who listens to ludicrous dirty gangsta rap and murder songs.
I don't own an MP3 player, but I'm a music collector, so this happens when I talk about music to people, or when I ask for a song when I'm in the pub... it also depends on who I'm with at that time btw!
I guess there's always a song that you suggest and it makes someone go...

Modern Talking - You're my heart, you're my soul This song is sooooo wrong... it turns into GOOD! Have a listen to it, first WITHOUT the video of course, and you even get the melody stuck in your brain after a while! LOL
ATC - Around the World (La La La La La) Eurohouse was big here in the 90's and allthough all of my friends hate me for requesting this song from time to time in the pub, I can't help myself... it's easy listening! =)
Anita Meyer - Why tell me why? Our pride and joy from the 80's, Anita Meyer... one hit wonder with a good song that's smooth between pop and disco! Very well produced song, but a little stiff for dancing... o_O
The Confetti's - C in China The original song from the New Beatz Acid House era in Belgium! Nowadays most people don't know (or want to know) this leading group that was pioneering for this shortlived music style, but wait... If you have a stereo with deep bass and you feel like wanting to drive your parents absolutely completely NUTS?!?! Screw the volume to maximum and play the following version of this song: The Confetti's - C in China (Instrumental Acid Bass Mix) That will give you a permanent house arrest till your 40! LOL
Brotherhood of Man - Save all your kisses for me Crappy sweet-toothed EuroVision Song Festival winner from back in the year that I was build, but the song... makes you happy, makes you smile, makes you... *cough* ...ahum... you get the picture, right? =P

I don't really think it is something worth explaining. It was a giant hit, it is catchy, and everyone know the lyrics (at least here). Who doesn't want to hear a song that sings about barbie dolls (being undressed everywhere)
