To follow up on marios post, Lot's of artists are trapped inside of anime. Meaning, they want to draw anime, because they think it's cool. But really, as a matter of fact, they are good drawers, but they aren't great at anime. So, I think you should defiantly find your own style.
I agree with them... you can't draw things just because of what others draw... I like to draw abstract and war tings... while most of the people I know draw comics or something.
I disagree. If you enjoy doing something, like drawing anime, why force yourself to "find your style". Just have fun doing what you do. Just because a lot of people draw anime doesn't mean you shouldn't, especially if you enjoy it. Just because anime is a lot of peoples "styles" doesn't mean it can't be your style too.

So if you think anime is cool and want to draw it, but aren't good at it, you should give up and draw stuff you are better at drawing. How can you get good at something if you don't practice it.
I like the first one, but the second one doesn't have much appeal to me. Also you are getting better, and using the same form of drawing as the first picture you posted on AG. You need to stick to drawing, not paint. Also I agree with the above users. This is a style of anime. You need to add your own touch to it. Whether its small or big it will still make it yours. Just like cooking, if you add the smallest change it becomes your own recipe.
