Do to it bieng black history month, there has been alote about black history. Maney of the people regaurded as heroes today broke the law, in a mass scale. But there breaking the law lead to it not bieng a law any more. Then I thought of another example, the anti-alchole law was also broken thus was eleminated. A bit before the Amarican revelution taxes were ignored and avoided thus taken back. Even, for you riligons people, things in the bible that have been around for thousands of years, such as "stone girls who have sex before they get married" are now ignored and not considered a rule. Anyone care to agree with our argue against this?

It's natural for laws to become obsolete.
Or some are obsolete and unreasonable from the beginning.
Either way though...

Agreed.

Never heard of someone breaking the law in a mass scale.

Well, if I commit, along with several thousand others, 100,000 murders, is murder going to be abolished as a law? No, I don't think so. And we'll all be hanged, shot, electrocuted, and so on.

As society progresses, laws adjust.

Prohibition?

Also, the whole black civil rights movement broke the then laws of the US in many ways, even without resorting to violence.

I get a wee feeling he is doing it on purpose.

Laws are only made to serve a purpose and when some laws have outlived their purpose they become obsolete. There are crazy new laws being made every day, and we are being treated like children. I hope we have many more heroes to stand against crazy laws like "Dont smoke this plant" and "Dont sleep while driving". Lol, I dont quite understand the logic of it tbh. The ppl that make these laws are running the country, doesnt that scare anyone?

A law will be a law until it is revoked. They aren't meant to be broken, but are broken so often that people think they should be. If they do break the law then they will have to deal with some sort of consequence.

What if millions of people break the same law every day, do you not think it should be taken into consideration? How are you gonna punish a million people a day? I think its more complicated than law breaking and consequences.

Yes, if a million people break the same law, then it should be taken into account and dealt with. You may not be able to punish all, but you can punish some to set an example to the rest. Yes, I believe it is way more complicated than law breaking and consequences, but to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Sadly this is not happening tho. I suppose the difficult thing is finding laws that suit everyone. Seriously tho... falling asleep at the wheel! Who made that one up. I would have thought the simple law of reckless driving would cover it.
